Experience should be in CNC Machining environment  of heavy steel components and  have experience with military and commercial vehicle markets a plus!

Working knowledge of GD&T is essential.
Practical experience with AIAG Core Tools (PPAP, APQP, MSA, SPC).
Experience working within an ISO/TS16949 or AS9100 environment.

Must be strong in Corrective Action - Able to talk easily with machinists and with upper level management. 

This position will have Customer Relations responsibility and must be an individual who has a sense of urgency to stay right on top of things with their client Caterpillar.

The Quality Engineer supports new product/process development and manufacturing through the application of quality engineering techniques. This person will handle multiple projects and tasks throughout product development, product launch and manufacturing. Additionally, this individual will ensure that product meets quality standards consistent with customer and other regulatory requirements. The Quality Engineer will represent the organization and interface with the customer on a regular basis. This role also supports plant activities in customer issues, supplier issues, and initiate corrective actions with an emphasis on process improvement.
